Why we made this
Co-parenting after a separation is already a lot. There's the calendar and the shared costs. Holidays come around every year, and texts can turn sharp when everyone is tired. Under all of it, the kids still need to know where they're sleeping and who is picking them up.
Many tools charge a monthly fee or ask both parents to join the same app, and that isn't possible for everyone. So we made something quieter: simple files you buy once and can use on your own, whatever your co-parenting looks like. They won't fix what's hard. We hope they carry some of the practical weight, so you have a little more room for everything else.
Questions
Do both parents need to buy?
No. One purchase is enough, and you can use it on your own. Sharing a copy later is optional.
Google Sheets or Excel?
Both. The Co-Parenting Planner's PDF guide has a Google Sheets copy link, and the download also includes SAMPLE and CLEAN Excel workbooks. The Kind Words Kit comes as a PDF and a Google-Docs-friendly DOCX.
How do splits work in the Co-Parenting Planner?
If both incomes are entered, the default split is income %. Otherwise it's 50/50. You can set any category to Shared, Each home keeps, or Custom %. You settle once a month on your settle day, which is the 15th by default.
Is there a subscription?
No. Each kit is a one-time purchase. There are no seat limits and no app to install.
Is this legal advice?
No. These are organizational tools only. They are not legal, tax, or custody advice.
Can I get a refund?
Under our shop policy, digital downloads are final unless Etsy requires otherwise. If a file is broken or a link won't open, message us and we'll fix it or replace your copy.
